The Eid Show brings together thousands of families for three unforgettable days of celebration, featuring thrilling carnival rides, delicious halal food, live stage entertainment, cultural performances, market stalls, animal nursery, kids’ activities, spectacular nightly fireworks, and plenty of family-friendly attractions.

Whether you’re celebrating Eid, catching up with family and friends, or simply looking for an incredible day out, the Eid Show offers something for everyone. Come and experience the vibrant atmosphere as our community comes together to celebrate faith, culture, and family in a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

Sydney Trading Days & Time

The Eid Show is a three day event, which will be operating on Friday the 12th (11am-10pm), Saturday the 13th (11am – 10pm) and Sunday the 14th of March 2027 (11am -10pm).

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTICE
NO ENTRY FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINORS AFTER 6PM

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, children under 18 will not be allowed into the event after 6pm unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This rule will be strictly enforced.
We appreciate your understanding and support in keeping our event family-friendly and safe for everyone.

Security will be present.

Parking

On-site event parking available for a fee of $15 per car per day. Please have correct cash ready to avoid long traffic queues. Eftpos available (1.5% surcharge) Alternatively, there is free street parking available outside of the Showground.

Prayer and wudu Facilities

The Eid Show offers a dedicated prayer space and wudu facilities. These areas provide an environment for attendees to fulfil their religious practices during the event. We encourage all guests to utilise these facilities to enrich their Eid experience.

Wet Weather

The Eid Show is a partly sheltered event. However, in the event of extreme weather, we may occasionally need to cancel or close the event for safety reasons. If such a situation arises, we will promptly announce any cancellations or changes on our website and social media pages.

Smoking/vaping

Smoking (including electrical cigarettes and vapes) are prohibited indoors and at all food, public seating, or spectating areas of the Eid Show, and where indicated by “No Smoking” signage. Smoking is only permitted outside of the Bankstown Showground.

Pets

We welcome service animals and pets required for medical purposes; however, given the large crowds at our event, we’ve noticed that those who prepare in advance tend to have a much more enjoyable experience. Please only bring your pet if they are well-behaved, non-aggressive, and comfortable in busy, stimulating environments—especially during the evening fireworks.

For safety, dogs must be kept on a fixed lead or a securely locked retractable lead no longer than 6 feet at all times. We kindly ask that you clean up after your pet and encourage them to use designated outdoor areas. Your consideration in maintaining the cleanliness of our venue is greatly appreciated!

The Eid Show is located at the Bankstown Showground at 176-178 Eldridge Rd, Bankstown.

PARKING

There is on-site event parking for the Eid Show at a cost of $15 per vehicle per day. Entry for parking is via Eldridge Road. Both cash and card payments accepted (1.5% surcharge). Alternatively, there is free parking in the surrounding streets close to the showground.

Please:

  • Be courteous and follow posted parking hours (fines apply).
  • Do not block driveways.
  • Mind your noise level.
  • Be respectful of neighbours property.
  • Park close to other cars to maximise spaces.
  • Take all rubbish with you.

Enjoy a comfortable environment that supports children and adults with Autism and specific sensory needs. A quiet session will be offered – TBC.

During our quiet session, the Eid Show will be modified for a gentler sensory experience. This will give attendees with a disability the ability to enjoy the event in a low sensory environment and without the usual crowds.

• Lights and sounds will be turned down or switched off where possible. No PA announcements.

• A designated quiet sensory room will be available for visitors to use should they require a break.

• Disabled toilets will be available.

• Disabled parking will be available (via registration).
