The Eid Show is a not-for-profit organisation proudly dedicated to giving back to the community through meaningful, high-quality events. Each year, the organisation continues to build on its vision of delivering bigger, better, and more impactful premier community celebrations, while remaining grounded in faith, family, and service.
The Eid Show provides a family-friendly Islamic environment for the celebration of the two most important dates in the Islamic calendar — Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. The event is proudly delivered by a passionate group of volunteers known as the AIES Team, who work tirelessly throughout the year to bring these joyful celebrations to life. From multicultural halal food kiosks, thrilling amusement rides, fashion and retail stalls, children’s toys, arts and crafts, and animal exhibits, to fireworks, family stage shows, games, and roaming entertainment, every element is thoughtfully curated to create a welcoming and unforgettable experience. This is made possible through the dedication of our friendly staff and volunteers, who are at the heart of the Eid Show.
A standout feature of the Eid Show is its commitment to world-class entertainment. Over the years, the event has proudly hosted internationally recognised Islamic artists including Mohamed Tarek, Mohammed Youssef, Amin Davis, Siedd, Ilyas Mao, Moussa Moustafa, and Islam Sobhi, giving Australian audiences the opportunity to experience globally celebrated performers live on stage.
The Annual Islamic Eid Show traces its humble beginnings back to Bass Hill, Sydney in 2010, where it started as a small community gathering. Following the success of this inaugural event, the Eid Show relocated later that year to Bankstown Showgrounds to accommodate the rapidly growing number of stallholders and attendees. Since then, this iconic venue has become the long-standing home of the bi-annual, multi-day Sydney Eid Show, welcoming tens of thousands of attendees each year.
In 2015, the AIES was proudly recognised at the Mission of Hope Australian Muslim Achievement Awards, receiving the award for “Event of the Year”. The continued success of the Sydney Eid Show also created strong national demand, with many attendees travelling interstate to take part. This led to the expansion of the Eid Show beyond Sydney, beginning with Melbourne and marking a major milestone in the organisation’s growth.
Today, the Eid Show is widely recognised as Australia’s premier multicultural Eid celebration, known for its professionalism, scale, and strong community impact. For over 15 years, the Eid Show has successfully delivered events in Sydney and Melbourne, creating meaningful experiences for attendees while providing valuable exposure and recognition for our sponsors and stallholders.
The Eid Show remains a celebration where everyone is welcome. It continues to unite people through faith, culture, and community, earning its reputation as the leading multicultural festival of its kind in Australia.
